Film Review: Backrooms

A psychologist wakes up tied to a chair in the warped simulacra of a mid-century dining room, surrounded by mute Escher-esque homunculi and the spiraling, knife-wielding furniture salesman she was trying to rescue. She asks his carnivorous, elongated doppelgänger, who is wearing a pirate costume, “why the long face?”

Guess you had to be there.
